The clubhouse “No.10” at Lake Bostalsee in the German Federal State of Saarland demonstrates how to achieve that in an architecturally attractive way. The architects Christina Beaumont and Achim Gergen designed a wooden frame building dynamically incorporating the curves of the landscape.
Realised by Bernardi GmbH from Völklingen using integrated carpentry and roofing expertise, the complex roof structure of the building was covered with EVALON® roofing membrane and pearl mouse grey TAG 400 aluminium profiles made by alwitra. Due to the convincing results, the roof was awarded “roof of the month” by the “Dach+Holzbau” journal (issue 1/2016).
